These terms govern use of the NAWAI app, published by DALIA IT.
Purpose
NAWAI helps users track their diet, set nutrition targets and obtain meal estimates from text or photo input.
NAWAI’s estimates are indicative. They do not constitute medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment or a personalised health recommendation.
User account
In current versions of NAWAI, AI meal analysis and cloud synchronisation require creating or signing in to an account. Analysis features and personalised coaching remain subject to the access rights and conditions shown in the app. Some earlier versions offered a first photo analysis in guest discovery mode after explicit AI analysis permission; this is no longer offered in current versions. This change does not delete existing meals or records and does not create a new right to analysis.
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, the confidentiality of their credentials and the use of their account.
AI meal analysis
When a user voluntarily requests analysis of a meal from a photo or text, the submitted data may be processed by NAWAI servers and its technical or AI service providers to produce a nutrition estimate.
Users must verify results before using them, especially in the case of an allergy, medical condition, medical goal, strict dietary restriction or specific nutritional need.
Apple Health
Apple Health import is optional. Routes, heart rate and detailed samples stay locally on the device. Profile details and NAWAI targets explicitly reviewed and saved may be stored with your account. With separate cloud consent, NAWAI may also save daily energy totals and minimal workout summaries (date, duration, active calories, type and source) to restore tracking across devices. You can stop this sync or separately delete your cloud activity history.
Acceptable use
Users agree not to misuse the app, attempt unauthorised access to systems, abusively automate requests, submit unlawful content or use NAWAI in a way that could harm the service or other users.
Availability
NAWAI is provided as is and evolves over time. DALIA IT may change, suspend or discontinue features for maintenance, security, product improvements or technical reasons.

Personal data processing is described in the privacy policy available at https://nawai.ai/privacy.
Account deletion
You can request deletion in the app: Profile > Account > Delete my account, then explicitly confirm.
After the request is accepted, NAWAI closes your local session. Durable server-side processing deletes the account, associated cloud data and cloud backup, and may finish asynchronously. Deleting your NAWAI account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription: subscription management remains available with Apple.
Food product sources and licences
Some product entries use data from Open Food Facts and its contributors. The database is available under ODbL 1.0, its individual contents under DbCL 1.0, and photographs identified as sourced from Open Food Facts under CC BY-SA 3.0.
Product and licence links are available with the relevant content and in Sources and licences. Estimated additions and changes are distinguished from the source data. Restrictions applying to NAWAI’s own content do not limit rights granted by these licences for the relevant materials. This notice does not imply endorsement of NAWAI by Open Food Facts.
